Academy of AutoMechanics Ltd is a private alternative vocational education provider located at #22 Balthazar Street, Tunapuna. Established in 1996, the Academy initially catered to vehicle owners interested in basic maintenance practices. Over time, the demand from practicing Automechanics led to the introduction of programs tailored to their needs. As our motto suggests, we focus on equipping today's mechanics and preparing tomorrow's professionals. Our courses range from beginner to advanced levels, approved by the Ministry of Education. Practical training is a significant component, carried out at our garage in Tunapuna. We welcome individuals interested in hands-on work and those aspiring to advance their careers. With a capacity for 30 students and no gender bias, we have achieved excellent success rates in both classroom learning and examinations. We have trained individuals from various companies, including the Trinidad & Tobago Fire Services, National Gas Company, and Toyota Trinidad & Tobago Ltd. Our Academy stays abreast of industry advancements to ensure our students are at the forefront of modern automotive technology. The automotive industry offers diverse and rewarding career opportunities, and we strive to equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this ever-evolving field.
Located at #22 Balthazar Street in Tunapuna, Trinidad, W.I., the Academy of AutoMechanics is easily accessible due to its strategic proximity to the Eastern Main Road, the Priority Bus Route, and the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway. When heading east from Port-of-Spain, you'll find Balthazar Street on the left-hand side of the Eastern Main Road, just before Macoya Road (opposite Diskomart Grocery). Our school is situated on Balthazar Street, approximately six buildings away from the Eastern Main Road on the right-hand side. Please note that Balthazar Street is now a one-way street for cars, so you'll need to make a block and reach us via either Eldorado Road and Green Street or Jubilee Street and Green Street. We are conveniently located halfway between Green Street and the Eastern Main Road on the left-hand side, clearly marked with the number 22 on the outside wall. Please access our facility by going upstairs in the back building.
